Stuart attended New York Comic Con (NYCC) this year, and I was able to visit the city. Sorry, no pics of NYCC. I didn't go to the convention, but will be posting later about my visit to the Met and some special paintings I saw there.
We were lucky to visit this hotel. Top notch staff that are the personification of hospitality. Ideal location: across the street from Lincoln Center -- fantastic cafes and restaurants across the street -- a drug store around the corner.
Best of all -- the building itself is over 100 years old. Updated, but still retains the charm of its history.
The patina of the elevators hints at all the stories that have happened here..I personally loved the bold choice of this wall paper on the interiors...
We got to have a meal with friends at the rooftop restaurant.
