Post 3 of 7
Besides the superstar panels... a main attraction at Comic Con is the huge booths for toy companies offering con exclusive items. Most of the attendees who are actually shopping the exhibit hall floor these days are on the hunt for these exclusives. Here's a peek at what it takes to score some of that valuable vinyl...

The Lego Booth always amazes with giant versions of current pop icons..
Yep.. these big boys are made entirely of little lego blocks...
For most collectors though .. the scale of traditional action figures are more practical

Companies like Sideshow Collectibles specialize in high end versions of action-figure type items..

Several Studio booths displayed full-sized costumes from superhero film characters..

Need a cape for your chair ... there's a booth for that...
Demand is so intense for some of the major-player toys that elaborate rules are posted...Here's the chart for how to obtain your Mattel toy..
The crowd..

This prototype of the official "Barbie as Wonder Woman" doll got lots of attention..

The Warner Bros booth ... before the show opened...

What does it all mean??
For many .. it meant a long wait in the Fed Ex line to ship it all home.
