Peter was @lightboxexpo all 3 days -- signing copies of his new book. He was a guest of the show and appeared on a panel, as well as meeting lots of fans and peers all weekend long.

Highlights of Peter's art career include character designer for Disney, Pixar, and Blue Sky studios... perhaps best known for Scrat, the scene stealing squirrel from the Ice Age films.. (photo below by Mary Umans, for the Normal Rockwell Museum)....

Stuart provided books and sales support for Peter's table. We were lucky to have help from our gracious and experienced colleagues: artist Mia (above) on Friday... and former SNB manager Mary (who left us to go to law school and is now a lawyer) on Saturday and Sunday..

Each breed sheet shows the recognized colors and varieties. I got to have a lovely chat with artist Savannah about our shared interest in advocating for responsible breeders, as well as rescue/adoption dogs. Doing research before getting any pet -- and getting pets from responsible sources that will be a lifelong resource for owners and animals -- is so important.
